At medoutletcanada.com we understand why people are curious about our program.  Here we provide the answers to some common questions:

What benefits and services does Membership offer me?
* Access to global pricing on medications, and the ability to purchase them safely through reputable pharmacies in our network
* Support from our Member Service Center
* Administration and coordination of your prescription orders with various global Network Service Providers
* Toll Free patient counseling is available

Do I need a prescription to order?
Yes. No matter where you decide to order your medications from, a valid prescription written by a licensed physician is always required.

You can send your prescription to us directly by mail to:

medoutletcanada.com
P.O. Box 29141
Okanagan Mission RPO
Kelowna, BC, Canada
V1W 4A7

Ask our Member Service Center about other ways to send your prescription information to us. We offer postage paid return envelopes and can also provide you with instructions on how to get your doctor to fax your prescription directly.

Can you fill orders for minors under the age of majority?
Prescription orders for minors must have the medical questionnaire and forms signed by their legal guardian.

Are all prescription products available through your program?
While most drugs are available, different regulations in each country may cause distribution under alternative brand names and availability of some medications to be restricted. Narcotic or habit-forming substances often cannot be imported.

What kind of shipping charges can I expect?
We have flat rate shipping charge of $10.99 US per shipment per country. You will be informed of the shipping rate when you place your order.  The vast majority of orders fit within one parcel.

For example, if you place two orders to be supplied from two different countries, you will be shipped two separate packages and two separate shipping fees would apply. On the plus side, the savings found by ordering from multiple pharmacies worldwide more than make up for the small amount required for shipping.

What currency do I use to purchase medications from other countries?
All purchases are made in US dollars.

How long does it take for me to receive my medications once I order?
For orders placed for products to be shipped from the U.S. or Canada the typical arrival time is within 10 days.  There can be delays caused by the postal system or by customs requirements (particularly at holiday time).  We recommend ordering at least 35 days in advance of when you will actually need the medications.  The arrival time for products ordered from overseas pharmacies may be up to 30 days, so we recommend ordering 45 days in advance in those cases.

What if my shipment does not arrive when I expect it to?
1. Call our Member Service Center using the Toll Free number on the front of your Member card and we will investigate the status of your order

2. After 30 days have elapsed from the original shipment date, we will ship a second parcel from the same pharmacy.

Questions & Answers

How much can I order?

With prescription orders, you are permitted to purchase up to a 3-month supply (100 days) of each of your medications for which you have a valid prescription.  If your prescription is written for more than a 3-month supply, we will fill the remainder as refills as they come due.  With non-prescription orders, there are generally no limitations (however duty and other related charges may apply depending upon the country you reside in).

What related costs can I expect?
There are no hidden fees or unexpected charges. The total charge for your order will be available when you call us to place an order.

How different are the overseas products likely to appear?
Packaging will vary from country to country.

Generally speaking, as most products all originate from one manufacturing center that distributes worldwide, there should not be significant differences beyond what is already the case between U.S. and Canadian medications.  For example, some medications may be sold as a tablet in the U.S. but would be available as a capsule in Canada.  These are the kinds of variations that are likely to occur.  If in any case you are unsure, call our toll free line by using the number on the front of your Member Card.

What if my order is incorrect?
Call our Member Service Center at the TOLL FREE number listed on the front of your Member Card and we will resolve any issues.

What if in the future a product becomes less expensive in a different country?
medoutletcanada.com can easily facilitate the transfer of your refills from one pharmacy within its network to another, at no charge, so you can maximize your savings. As well we are always investigating new pharmacies around the world to find lower pricing to offer you.

Will I pay any sales tax on my prescription order?
No. We do not charge any sales taxes on exported orders.

Payment Methods: All orders are processed in US dollars. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.

In a nutshell, how do I get started?
Step 1. Contact our Member Service Center at 1-800-423-6508 and obtain price quotes for the medication(s) you need.

Step 2. Choose what country, or countries, you would like to order your medication(s) from.

- You always control where your medication(s) are coming from
- You are not required to order the least expensive products
- You can order from several different countries at the same time to maximize your savings

Step 3. Submit, fax, or mail the completed medical questionnaire, order forms and the prescriptions from your physician.  Our Member Service Center can help you with all of these.

Step 4. For first-time Members, or when orders are placed for new medications, physicians in the respective dispensing country may review your health information and prescription.  A pharmacist or physician may contact you or your doctor to review your information or to ask questions.

Step 5. Once your prescription has been reviewed the pharmacy you chose will fulfill the order.

Step 6. Your order will be shipped to the delivery address you specified once payment is processed.
